8-week * 1 hour Online Interactive Program
Learning Outcomes:
Fundamentals of 3D art and design through learning basics of 3D and Digital 3D design processes
Learning to think visually in a digital environment and art topics such as dimensions, depth, space, colour, time.
Weekly Curriculum:
Week 1 - Interface introduction
Week 2- Learning the basic modelling tools
Week 3- Modelling practices with basic tools
Week 4- Modelling practices with complex tools
Week 5- Making a 3D scene with modelled objects
Week 6- Adding colour to the scene objects
Week 7- Making a simple animation using the scene we made
Week 8- Setting your final scene and rendering
Materials needed: PC with a keyboard and mouse, and software called “Blender” downloaded from blender.org. (Blender is an open-source SW and no subscription fee required.)
Online Platform: Students join the class using Zoom. Zoom Meeting information is shared with the attendees after registration.
Age Requirement: Appropriate for 8-12 years old elementary students who is interested in Design elements and 3D.
